Welcome to MetaSynth, an entirely new concept in music software.
To get started, simply copy the MetaSynth folder to your hard drive; there is no special installer program and no custom extensions other than Sound Manager and QuickTime are required. Your MetaSynth serial number will be required the first time you start the program.
NOTE REGARDING MEMORY: MetaSynth does all of its work in RAM and the more memory you have (and the more you allocate to MetaSynth) the more stuff you'll be able to do. Some of the Instruments and Presets included on this CD are big RAM users; you'll have to give 40 to 50 Meg to MetaSynth (using Get Info in the Finder) to use some of these examples. Change the default Instrument memory allocation in MetaSynth's Preferences menu if a particular Instrument is running out of RAM.
